Cleaning & Daily Care
Everyday wipe‑down
Felt is easy to clean and not prone to holding stains. For routine care, simply wipe with a damp cloth. The material is designed not to transfer color—neither to the cloth nor to your bag’s lining—when cleaned with a damp cloth.
Spills & makeup
If perfume leaks or lipstick marks the insert, blot the area and wipe gently. You may use alcohol‑free, bleach‑free wipes or a mild, non‑abrasive cleaner on a soft cloth, then air dry.
What to use / avoid
- Use: Damp cloth, alcohol‑free & bleach‑free wipes, mild non‑abrasive cleaners.
- Avoid: Machine washing, tumble drying, harsh chemicals/solvents, high heat or direct radiators. Let it dry at room temperature.
Crumbs & lint
Remove the organizer, turn it upside down, and shake out crumbs. A lint roller helps with dust and fibers.
Why Felt for Organizers?
We tested multiple textiles through prototypes, prioritizing structure (shape support), lining protection, and lightweight durability. Felt delivered the best balance, which is why we chose it for daily use inside handbags. We’re also researching alternative materials that can match felt’s support and interior protection in future iterations.
Thickness Guide: 2 mm vs 3 mm
- 2 mm: Space‑efficient and lighter—ideal for small to medium bags.
- 3 mm: Extra structure and base support—great for larger totes or when you carry more.
Color Matching
Match your insert to your bag’s lining or exterior. Explore swatches (neutrals, dark browns, wines, bright accents) on our Color Chart.
Summary
A felt organizer keeps your bag clean, structured, and protected—and it’s simple to maintain: wipe with a damp cloth, spot clean with alcohol‑free, bleach‑free products, avoid high heat, and choose 2 mm or 3 mm based on your carry style.
